How to Use Triad Custom Original Blue Light Tray

Step by Step Guide:

Caution: Wear lab coat, safety glass, gloves, mold mask.

Construction of models by Pouring Plaster.

1. Add water to Green Plaster bowl. Add plaster powder into the bowl and mix the contents with plaster spatula.

2. Spray the maxillary mold and mandibular mold with debubblizer and use the airgun to dry the molds. Setup a layer of newspaper and turn on and adjust the setting of the vibrator machine. Add a small amount of the plaster content with plaster spatula at one corner of each mold. Let the content flow to all tooth area. Pour more plaster content to fill the top of mold.

3. Let the molds sit for 25 minutes. Remove the plaster models and wait 45 minutes.

4. Use red color pencil to mark the non-working area and blue color pencil to mark working area. Use green sharpie to mark tissue area and retromolar pad. Use green color pencil to mark margins which is 3mm from the red area.

Construction of Wax Spacer for Maxillary and Mandibular Plaster Model.

1.Use Bunsen burner to heat the base plate wax.

2.Press the  base plate wax  to take shape for the model with finger or eraser.

3.Use sharp edge equipment such as plaster knife to trim the base plate wax. Save the excess for future use. Note: Trim along the green lines marked by green color pencil.

Construction of Maxillary Custom Tray using Triad material

Steps:

1. Open the Triad material package. Put the Blue Triad material on top of theMaxillary Plaster model with wax spacer constructed previously.

2. Apple Vaseline to Blue Triad material. Use sharp edge equipment such as plaster knife to trim the Blue Triad material. Use excess material to construct a handle. Note: Trim along the green lines marked by green color pencil.

3. Put the model in the light cure machine for 5 mins. Remove the custom tray.

4. Use the hot boil station to remove the wax spacer.

5. Trim the custom tray from coarse to fine using Grinding Stone, Arbor Band, and finally Bur with rotating motor and vacuum with a fish mouth.

Construction of Mandibular Custom Tray using Acrylic material

1. Add water to Green Plaster bowl. AddAcrylic powderinto the bowl and mix the contents with hand and glove. Put the BlueAcrylic material on top of theMaxillary Plaster model with wax spacer constructed previously.
2. Apple Vaseline to BlueAcrylic material. Use sharp edge equipment such as plaster knife to trim the Blue Triad material. Use excess material to construct a handle. Note: Trim along the green lines marked by green color pencil.
3. Wait until the Acrylic hardens.
4. Trim the custom tray from coarse to fine using Grinding Stone, Arbor Band, and finally Bur with rotating motor and vacuum with a fish mouth.
